Independent appCanyon Lake Passport uses your location to confirm you've actually arrived at an amenity before it unlocks that amenity's stamp, and to show nearby amenities on the map. Location is only used while the app is open.
Make sure Location access is set to "While Using the App" in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Canyon Lake Passport. GPS accuracy can vary, so if you're right at the edge of a property, try moving a little closer to the amenity itself.
Not currently. Stamps and favorites are stored locally on your device only. Reinstalling the app or switching to a new device will start your passport over.
Deleting the app removes all of your local data, including stamps and favorites. The app doesn't create an account or store your personal data on any server.
Notifications are entirely optional and only used for occasional community updates: a monthly heads-up on upcoming Canyon Lake events, and reminders the day before an event you might be interested in. You can decline or turn these off anytime in Settings → Notifications → Canyon Lake Passport.
No. Tapping a button there opens your phone's own Messages app with a pre-filled text addressed to Dillon; you choose whether to actually send it. The app itself never collects, stores, or transmits your contact information.
Send an email describing the issue: what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead, and it'll get looked at directly.
